AI cameras
less time searching, faster alerts

A camera that records is useless if nobody can find the sequence. What on-device detection changes, and what it does not replace.

The problem is not the image, it is the search

On a classic installation, a camera records twenty four hours a day and nobody watches. The day a delivery goes missing or someone walks in, a person scrubs through hours of video. That is where the time goes, and that is what detection changes.

What on-device detection does

  • Object classification: person, vehicle, animal, parcel. A search by type and time range replaces hours of scrubbing.
  • Zones and lines: triggers only on the area that matters, not on the road behind.
  • Useful alerts: a notification when someone enters the storeroom after closing, not every time a cat walks past.

The processing happens in the camera or in the recorder, not in a third party cloud. That is what makes a simple promise possible: the footage stays in the building.

What we install

UniFi cameras and an on-site recorder. The recorder also provides remote access: a manager can review a sequence from a phone without opening a port on the router. The whole system is supervised by the same monitoring as the rest of the network, disk space included.

The legal frame, without detours

Filming a workplace or a public area requires clear information to the people filmed and a proportionate retention period. We set retention to the strict minimum, access by name, and we document the installation. A well placed camera that ignores the frame is a problem, not a security feature.

What it changes in practice

In a shop or a hotel, finding an event goes from watching the night to filtering vehicle passages between 2 am and 4 am. The gain is not the camera, it is the time nobody spends searching anymore.
